Our Trip

The Caribbean Islands are among the most wonderful sailing areas of the world. We did most of our sailing as a family in the Mediterranean. But the little we saw of the Caribbean we loved and have been dreaming ever since of exploring these islands and their incredible underwater world with much more time on our hands.

And that is what we want to do now.

Starting in Grenada, where JACE is spending hurricane season safely on land, we will do a large crescent shaped loop in clockwise direction. There is so much to see and we will have to balance between seeing as much as possible with not turning it into a mad rush. Because after all, cruising is all about taking time to see and experience the unexpected. And that does not happen when you are on a tight schedule.

Itinerary

  • Nov: Visit the beautiful Grenadines to get into the cruising mode

As every cruiser will tell you, even the best plan will change in response to wind and weather and a myriad of other reasons. And we are still debating how much is too much. So if you are thinking of visiting us en route, please be flexible and don’t bank on the above itinerary too much. Let’s talk.
